Okay, guys.

I started this blog because, like so many girls my age and younger, i’m frustrated.

Frustrated by my weight.

Frustrated at the lack of positive body images.

Frustrated by the lack of good role models.

Frustrated by the idea of ‘beauty’ that is forced down our throats.

So i started this blog because

a. I want to inspire other girls like myself to be healthy and happy.

b. I want to track my progress on my own journey.

So this is a prog-blog/inspiration blog.

Let’s just get one thing straight, though:

This is not a thinspo blog.

I will not be posting images of size zero, size two girls. That isn’t to say those girls aren’t beautiful, because they are- when they’re naturally that small.

But when a girl starves herself to be a size zero, she looks skeletal and ill.

I won’t be putting things like that on my blog. You’ll probably be seeing a lot of images of young girls like Aislinn Paul, Jessica Tyler, America Ferrera- girls who are beautiful, average-sized girls.

Girls that I would love to look like.

I’m overweight. I know i’m beautiful, but i’m also very unhealthy. I want to live a long, happy life and i know I won’t be able to if I continue like this.

So here’s the start of my journey. I hope you join me!
